All of the pottery in the showroom is handmade by Alex and Sue at Borgh. To compliment the pots there is a range of gifts, some of them made on the island, including Celtic patterned knitwear; Hebridean Woolhouse products made from the fleece of the ancient breed of Hebridean sheep; Harris Tweed tea cosies. We also sell handmade silver jewellery by May Woodley, Pictish cards and wallhangings by Marianne Lines, a large range of candles and handmade Scottish soaps. Click on images to enlarge |

| All the pots are hand thrown or hand built using traditional techniques which bring freshness and individuality to the work. This method of working allows a great deal of flexibility and scope in both size and design, it is therefore possible to accept commissions for a variety of work from Dinner Sets to One-off Speciality Items in porcelain and stoneware. The stoneware pottery is suitable for ovens and is safe in the dishwasher. | |||
| Alex and Sue work with a selection of their own rich and muted glazes which have a depth and quality only to be found in high fired stoneware. Their work can be seen in the delightful pottery showroom alongside a range of gifts with a difference | |||
